Seeds was built with one overarching purpose in mind, and that is to bring value to all sectors of the volunteering and social service community.
In saying that, we recognise the value and importance of Social Service Agencies whether they may be governmental, private or non-profit. Volunteers and volunteering plays an important role to fill gaps in the system, and whilst medium and smaller agencies have an important role to play in both their reach and high social impact, the common theme is often lack of funding to remain a sustainable long term provider.
This is where Seeds attempts to challenge mindsets and disrupt the sector. We believe in legitimizing volunteerism and volunteer data to enable the institutions who manage these volunteers to unlock value from the private and public sector.
With the Seeds app legitimizing data and ensuring its veracity, we are also working with various stakeholders to build a Social Impact Exchange that will be designed to unlock value for institutions, charities and social impact organizations.

No, other institutions are not able to see your Volunteer’s profile unless the said volunteer signs up for an event with another institution or agency.
The aim of Seeds is to encourage volunteerism so that the institutions that coordinate social impact work can flourish. For this reason, our rewards mechanism will be pretty comprehensive.
For a start however, we have focused on day to day supplies and groceries like fruits and vegetables, consumables and food and beverage outlets in our effort to really make a difference on Volunteer’s pockets.
Institutions have the option to terminate their plan at any time. When we receive your instruction to terminate, your account will be deleted and you will lose access to your account and all data will be deleted within 14 days after we received confirmation of your intent.
We accept payment by all Major Credit Cards as well as Bank Transfer.
Seeds provides users with 3 different subscription plans. You may choose the plan that's most suitable for your Institutional needs. Check out pricings here.
Unfortunately, we do not offer any refunds once payment has been made. You will be able to access your account until its subscription expires.
Yes, all subscription plans come with reporting and data analytics based on the functionalities of our app as well as with each upgrade and improvement.
You will be able to connect with volunteers who have applied for your event through the Seeds in app chat function on the mobile app or web portal. The in-app chat feature is designed to provide easy communication within the community.
Once an institution is onboarded, you have an option to activate the following functions:

The beauty of the Seeds app is that the entire team behind it are individuals that are very much into Social Impact work and initiatives.
Various upgrades are already planned within the next 120 days, and all subscribers will be availed with the new functionalities. Various initiatives will also be pushed to members especially in fundraising for charities and institutions.
No, you do not need to pay anything as a volunteer. This is our way of supporting what you do and our attempt to enable you to do more. We at seeds really think that volunteers are the bedrock and fabric of society, so kudos to you!

your contributions as well as enable volunteerism through offering a wide
range of reward mechanisms to recognise your contributions to society.
More than that, Seeds seeks to recognise volunteerism and its’ value to our society and we believe that recognition should be given where its’ due. Seeds is therefore designed to bring individuals, institutions and business together whilst working to unlock value for charities that do such wonderful work with the help of volunteers.
In a nutshell, Seeds is an ecosystem designed and envisioned to disrupt the way our social compact, volunteerism and meritocracy is defined in wonderful ways.
At Seeds, all your volunteer efforts will be recorded on Blockchain to ensure that your social impact is given credibility and legitimacy. In turn, we believe that social impact should be recognised for its true economic value for the purposes of unlocking alternative funding mechanisms to benefit these institutions for whom you belong and give your precious time.
Once you have a Seeds account, you will be prompted to select the causes that interest you. Our system will then push down events first based on the the choices made by you, and then anything else which our algorithm picks up or which is perceived to be most suited for you. You can also manually scroll through our database of volunteer, training or learning opportunities.
Please be patient as we onboard more institutions and stakeholders to give you an exciting array of opportunities.
We understand that there may be times when you need to withdraw from an event due to urgent unforeseen circumstances. Our only ask is for you to inform the organizer or institution of your need to withdraw and update our system.
The organizer or institution will then be informed right away, so that they may make alternative arrangements, to fill your slot.
Yes, you certainly can pay it forward. Your bonuses can be given away to the giving pool, where Institutions will be able to “collect” the bonuses and pay it forward to those who need it more.
Your eligible bonuses can be accessed through your profile page in the Seeds App under “My Bonus Stack”. Select the Bonus you are using and follow the instructions on screen. All redemptions are really simple. Simply open the app, tap the QR code generator and voila! You can redeem your discounts according to your tier!

You can connect and communicate with the organizer through the in app messaging function on the mobile app. If you have “opted in” to join the community, you will also be able to chat with other like minded volunteers who have joined the same event as you.
We take personal privacy seriously. Volunteers will not be able to see each other’s profile. However, Institutions which you have signed up for and have completed an event with will be able to view your profile which consists of your Name, Seeds Volunteer ID, Volunteer Hours, Recognitions, Skills as well as your total Volunteer hours.
